Ingredients

  • Black bean sauce block (find it at H-Mart)

  • ramen spice packet

  • 1/2 onion

  • 1 cup water

  • Ramen noodles

  • Dduk (ricecakes)

  • Soft-boiled egg

  • Scallions

OR, use powder (follow water ratio on packaging)

  1. On a cutting board, chop the onion into small pieces

  2. Drizzle some oil to a heated pan, add the onion, and stir fry

  3. Add 1 cup of water to the pan with the black bean sauce block

  4. Stir the block until it's dissolved into the water

  5. In a pot, boil some ramen noodles on the side

  6. Add dduk (ricecake) to the heated pan with a sprinkle of the ramen noodle packet

  7. Lastly, add the cooked ramen noodles to the pan and stir everything together with a spatula

  8. Top it off with a soft-boiled egg, some scallions, and pickled radish (optional)
