so-dduk so-dduk (dduk & sausage)
sometimes things turn out SO GOOD i really wish I could feed somebody through the screen. so when it does deliver and catch the wave I'm really happy. it means I get to share this moment with more people. and maybe for some, it'll become a memory, they'll share with family, reminisce being in Korea in the streets, or try something new. enjoy, a yummy piece of my home :)
Ingredients
skewers or toothpicks
mini sausages
Korean rice cakes (dduk)
the kind you make ddukboki with
1 Tbsp gochujang
2.5 Tbsp sugar
1/2 Tbsp soysauce
1/2 tsp ramen packet
1 tsp garlic powder
1 Tbsp water
thread the sausage and dduk (korean rice cakes) in skewers or toothpicks
I found toothpicks to be easier to cook in the pan!
in a generously oiled pan, fry the skewers on both sides until the dduk is crispy on the outside.
mix the sauce ingredients (1 Tbsp gochujang ,2.5 Tbsp sugar, 1/2 Tbsp soysauce, 1/2 tsp ramen packet, 1 tsp garlic powder, 1 Tbsp water) and microwave it for 30 seconds.
smother the sauce all over the skewers, both sides using a brush.
enjoy!
